1. Delete the

2. Delete the
definition of Extended Leave of clause 1, Definitions and insert in lieu
thereof the following:
Extended Leave - A form of leave entitlement which
recognises and rewards long service as provided by the Extended leave
provisions covered in section 68Q (2) of the Transport Administration Act 1988.
3. Delete the
definition of RMS Group of clause 1, Definitions, and insert in lieu thereof
the following:
RMS - means the Secretary of the Department of Transport as
head of the Transport Service.
4. Delete
subclause 2.4 of clause 2, Area, Incidence and Duration, and insert in lieu
thereof the following;
2.4 This Award comes
into effect on 1 July 2021 and will remain in force until 30 June 2022
5. Delete clause
7.1 and insert in lieu thereof the following
7.1 The hourly rate
of pay for SCSs will be calculated with reference to a base hourly rate of $N
per hour. The rates of pay are set out
in the table in clause 25, Rates of Pay, will be increased by 2.5% operative
from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2019 and 1 July 2020 and
increased by 2.04% operative from the first full pay period on or after 1 July
2021.
6. Delete
subclause 8.1 of clause 8, Superannuation, and insert in lieu thereof the
following:
8.1 RMS will
contribute a proportion of each SCSs wage as determined by Commonwealth
superannuation legislation into a superannuation fund nominated by each SCS.
The current proportion is 10%, effective from 1 July 2021.
7. Delete
subparagraph (i) of paragraph (k) of subclause 11.13 of clause 11, Leave, and
insert in lieu thereof the following:
(i) Casual SCSs are
entitled to not be available to attend work, or to leave work if they need to
care for a person prescribed in paragraph (f) of this subclause who are sick
and require care and support, or who require care due to an unexpected
emergency, or the birth of a child.
8. Insert after
paragraph (h) of subclause 17.1 of clause 17, Safety Clothing and Equipment,
the following new paragraph:
(i) Long Sleeve

9. Delete clause
23, Leave Reserved, and renumber existing clauses accordingly.
10. Delete clause 26,

11. This variation
