VARIATION
1. Delete
subclause (g) of clause (4), Minimum Rates of Pay, of the award published 17
November 2000 (320 I.G. 485), as varied, and insert in lieu thereof the
following:
(g) The rates of
pay in this award include the adjustments payable under the State Wage Case May
2001. These adjustments may be offset against:
(A) any equivalent
overaward payments, and/or
(B) award wage
increases since 29 May 1991 other than safety net, State Wage Case, and minimum
rates adjustments
2. Delete Table
1 - Rates of Pay and Table 2 - Other Rates and Allowances, of Part B, Monetary
Rates, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

Column 2 represents the sum of the minimum weekly wage as
set out in Column 1 plus an allowance of six per cent paid to an employee
required to use a visual display terminal in the creation or editing or
editorial material in production.
3. This
variation shall take effect from the beginning of the first pay period to
commence on or after 20 October 2001.
