1. Delete

award published 8 June 2001 (325 I.G. 209), as varied, and insert in lieu
thereof the following:

5.1.1(d) The rates
of pay in this award include the adjustments payable under State Wage Case
2002. These adjustments may be offset
against:
(i) any
equivalent overaward payments; and/or
(ii) award wage
increases since 29 May 1991 other than safety net, State Wage Case and minimum
rates adjustments.
2. Delete
subclause 5.3 of clause 5, and insert in lieu thereof the following:
5.3 Apprentice
Rates of Pay
5.3.1 Except as
provided for in subclause 5.4, Adult Apprentices, the minimum weekly wage rate
for apprentices shall be based on the following. The minimum weekly wage for
apprentices before the commencement of this award was based on the following
percentages of the base rate plus state wage case adjustments for Wage Group
C10. At the commencement of this award, the supplement payment for Wage Group
C10 of $52.00 will be added to the said rate for the purposes of determining
weekly wages for apprentices. This addition will be phased in on the following
basis:

5.3.3 An employee who is
under 21 years of age on the expiration of his or her apprenticeship and
thereafter works as a minor in the occupation to which he or she has been
apprenticed shall be paid at not less than the adult rate prescribed for the
classification.

5.5 Unapprenticed
Junior Rates of Pay
The minimum weekly wage for unapprenticed juniors
before the commencement of this award was based on the relevant percentages of
the base rate plus state wage case adjustments for Wage Group C13. At the
commencement of this award, the supplementary payment for Wage Group C13 of
$42.60 will be added to the said rate for the purposes of determining weekly
wages for unapprenticed juniors. This addition will be phased in on the
following basis:
